Offsetting Plastic Impact
Our vials, made from 100% recyclable LDPE plastic, are currently not recycled due to their small size. To mitigate this, we partner with organizations like Plastic Bank in the Philippines and EU Reciclo in Brazil to offset more than twice our annual plastic production. While offsetting is a short-term solution, we’re actively working toward a long-term recycling approach.
Offsetting Highlights:
Philippines: In 2024, we prevented 27.5 million bottles (63,226 kg of plastic) from entering the ocean.

Our Manufacturing
We’re reducing our carbon footprint at Opella Consumer Healthcare manufacturing sites, with a commitment to cut CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2025. This goal will be achieved through green electricity, ending cogeneration, and ongoing energy optimization.
